A Few Words About Us

In the mid 1990’s a group of Knutsford locals met up after an Egerton Boys Club ‘Dads v kids’ match and created a mini friendly league.

This league grew the following season to include teams from Stretton, Goostrey and Wincham and remained a friendlies only league for a further 2 seasons until the official formation of the Cheshire Veterans League in 1997.

More teams joined than left over the following years and the league now has eight divisions and over 60 teams in the North West.

Seven divisions cater for Over 35 teams, and we have one division for Over 45 teams.

The league is fully affiliated to the Cheshire F.A. ( www.cheshirefa.com ) and has a hard working and committed committee who maintain the league ethos of competition with fairness and friendship.
